Business Analysis Workshops

Most of today's projects are cross-functional and/or cross-business, in other words, they span multiple companies, departments, groups and possibly borders (Does it sound like some politics may also come into play?)  Most of us work on projects as team members, line managers, users, support groups, technicians or project managers.  Many times, questions are asked about the project's origin, why it's actually being done, who owns it, what will it do, and what are its real goals?  Have you ever asked, "Did we really need to do this project?"

There’s another very critical question, "What's in-scope and what's out-of-scope?"  Scope is what our project will do, and what our project won’t do.  Determining what's in and what's out and, getting everyone to agree and understand, is just not that simple!

If Project Management is “Getting it done”, Business Analysis is figuring out, “What it is!”  A simple analogy – When building a house, the Project Manager is the General Contractor.  The Business Analyst is the Architect!

Our Business Analysis workshops are for anyone (especially non-technical individuals) who participates in the process of determining and developing the project's requirements.  One more thing about these requirements, once we have them, we must successfully communicate the specifics to the project's builders (engineers, IT team, contractors, etc.)  Does everyone speak the same language?  We help you do that too!

Please look at the courses below.  By clicking on a workshop you will be able to review the course description, objectives and outline. That's the starting point. From there we can customize and adjust the delivery to meet your needs, exactly!
